Hello Tri Deltas!
I can’t believe I have been your Phoenix Valley Alumnae Chapter President for two years! The time has been flying and it has been wonderful! I am honored to continue on in this role.
I am so thankful for all of the new and loyal active members we have had this past year and hope you will join us again for another great year!
We are always eager to see new people at our events so whether you are new to the area, have never joined the alumnae chapter or haven't been to an event in a while, we would love to see you! I really encourage you all to come check us out. We have an wonderful group of women from new graduates, to retirees, to everyone in between.
The women in this group are amazing and I am proud to call them friends. I am very grateful that I joined this group when I moved to the Phoenix area 7 years ago. I hope that you will do the same. We want to see you! We are offering an option for dues at the reduced rate of $35 for not only recent grads and snowbirds but also if you’ve never been a member of this group before. So if you have never been a member of the Phoenix Valley Alumnae Chapter before, regardless of your graduation date, it’s time to see what we are all about! We are also happy to offer a new two-year dues option that offers a great discount! That being said, I know times are tough and if finances are prohibiting you from joining our alumnae group, please let me know as we can sponsor individuals’ membership dues to our local chapter.
Our first official event of the new year is the Membership Coffee. This will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 from 10am-12pm at McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale. We will mix and mingle, eat and socialize, and talk about all the fun and meaningful activities we have planned for the upcoming year!
We will be sending e-vites on the upcoming events, so if you have not provided us or the national office with an up to date email address please email dddcommunication@gmail.com to be added to our list.
2012 is right around the corner and in July, the Tri Delta National Convention is headed to Arizona! Convention will be in Tucson but I have already been contacted by the Alumnae Chapter and there will be lots of opportunities for us Phoenicians to get involved in welcoming Tri Deltas from all over to our home state, so stayed tuned for information on that.
